From generation to generation family Puntijar was devoted to promotion of local heritage and culture through preparation of traditional Croatian recipes. After 175 years of family tradition in hospitality we have opened a museum boutique hotel Hotel Puntijar so we can preserve and promote the true culture of Zagreb.Opened in July 2013. Hotel Puntijar offers 34 uniquely decorated rooms with antique furniture, a fitness center, coffee bar and a congress hall for 60 people. The collection of seven hundred pictures, photographs and original newspaper articles on the walls of the hotel will walk You through the history of Zagreb and Croatia. Additional taste of tradition is offered in our restaurant Stari Puntijar where You can experience authentic Croatian recipes. Our museum of gastronomy will take You on a voyage through the history of Croatian cuisine, and as for all wine enthusiast we have a surprise waiting in our wine cellar from 1925.
